じつはユーリンでは
年柄年中犬は食べられています！
清の時代は、中国では犬食が禁止されていました。
しかしユーリンでは、清の時代にも、ずっと犬を食べていました！
中国では毎日推定2万7千匹の犬が殺され食べられています！
この犬の輸送は1人の女の犬屠殺者によりおこなわれていて湖北省から定期的（月2回）に大量の犬を赤いトラックに載せユーリンの犬肉店に届けています！
2022年のユーリン犬肉祭前に、2000頭もの犬たちがユーリンの犬肉店に連れていかれましたが、このトラックでした！
その後、12 月に中国の動物団体が犬たちを運んでいた物流会社を訴えました。環境不法行為（ユーリンへ動物が入る際は規定の検疫を受けさせる規則になっている）をうったえたのです。
物流会社は、「ドライバーと会社は無実です。犬たちを気の毒に思うなら、 私ではなく犬肉産業者を直接訴えるべきだ」
現在まだ、結果がでていません。
中国政府は国民に犬猫肉の消費を推進しておらず、犬や猫は2020年の新家畜リストに載っていませんでしたが、犬猫肉の消費は完全違法ではありません. ただし、一部の法律では違法となっています。
A big red truck delivering dogs to Yulin 2023.
Last delivery of this time was at the beginning of May, 2023.
It doesn’t have to be a dog meat festival – dogs are eaten in Yulin at other times too. And remember that estimated 27000 dogs are killed and consumed every day in China.
Will there be “Yulin dog meat festival 2023”? There’s no sign that there won’t be. It will be during June 21st –June 30th 2023.
Behind this dog transportation there is one female butcher’s business, she delivers a lot of dogs to Yulin. She has two big deliveries per month at the moment. This heartless woman seems to use always the same big red truck. There are both live and dead dogs and the dogs come from Hubei Province.
This truck delivered 2000 dogs to Yulin last summer 2022. Later, on December, a Chinese group, CBCGDF sued the logistics company Dongyue Logistics for illegally transporting dogs to Yulin. The CBCGDF required the company to assume responsibility for environmental torts.
Logistics company replied: “It is impossible for us to assume joint and several liability. If we assume that we lose the lawsuit, we will definitely appeal. I think the driver and the company are innocent. If you feel sorry for these dogs, you can directly sue the dog dealer.”
As I understand it, the legal process is pending.
The government of China does not advocate consuming dogs and cats and those animals are not on the livestocklist but the consumption of their meat is not illegal though. However there are other laws, for example food safety law, which make this practice illegal.
