犬 食 者 の リ ス ト を 提 出 せ よ
サムスングループ 故イ·ゴンヒ元会長が大変な愛犬家だったことが最近話題になっています。
自宅では数匹の子犬と一緒に暮らしていました。
1988年ソウルオリンピック時「韓国犬肉」が世界的大問題となったときに海外からの犬肉反対団体をわざわざ自宅に招いて「中には自分のように犬を非常に愛する韓国人もいる」と説明。
ある日、イ·ゴンヒ氏は、社員に「ボシンタンを食べる社員が我が社にいるか」と尋ねました。
慌てた社員が「いるでしょう」と答えると名簿を提出するよう求めました。
驚いた職員は「犬食者を叱責しますか？」と尋ねると、イ・ゴンヒ氏は「犬を一匹ずつ買ってあげようと思う」
「自分のように直接犬と触れ合えば、愛着が沸き犬肉を食べなくなるだろう」という考えだったそうです。
また、韓国の国宝犬である珍島犬は、1960年代まで従順かどうかを確認できず世界犬種協会に登録ができませんでした。
イ会長は1969年、直接珍島に行き珍島犬30匹を連れ帰りました。
10年間、研究陣と調査し確実に従順と言える根拠を出し1979年に世界犬種協会に珍島犬を登録させました。
2005年珍島犬はイギリスの愛犬団体ケンネルクラブに世界197番目の名犬として登録されました。
ニュースのコメント欄には、「犬肉販売は明白に不法だ!」、「ペットをどうやって食べるのか」、「犬肉を食べる職員に犬を買ってあげるなんてとても賢明だ」、「イ·ゴンヒ氏の経営哲学がとてもかっこいい」などが残されています。

Until the 1960s, the Jindo dog, a national treasure dog of South Korea, was not registered with the World Breeds Association because it could not be confirmed whether it was docile or not.
In 1969, Chairman Lee went directly to Jindo Island after hearing this news and brought back 30 Jindo dogs.
In 1979, the Jindo dog was registered with the World Dog Breeds Association after researching with the team.
In 2005, the Jindo dog was registered as the 197th dog in the world by the Kennel Club.
